David Schamerhorn acknowledged TRS alone wasn’t going to provide Educators with an optimal retirement benefit and has been working hard ever since to make sure all Educators, Teachers, Principals, School Administrators and district employees understand and prepare for Retirement. David has been “Educating Educators” for over 20 years throughout Houston’s public schools, colleges and universities on (TRS), Tax-Shelter Annuities (TSA), 403b's, 457's, Optional Retirement Plans (ORP), Life Insurance and many other investment vehicles. We believe client loyalties and care are evident by David’s passionate approach and commitments to educate everyone through simplicity and applying necessary disciplines to dignify Retirement. David Schamerhorn is Founding Donor of the Pasadena ISD Education Foundation, Past President of the Pasadena Philharmonic Society and contributes volunteer efforts towards the San Jacinto Day Foundation, Strawberry Festival, The Shrine Circus and local golf tournaments. David is also an active member of Great Hills Baptist Church.
